All patients who are able to have prescriptions on a repeat basis (i.e. without seeing the doctor each time) will be given a list of the medicines which they will be allowed to have. Only items on this list will be given without seeing a doctor.
Repeat medication can be ordered by telephoning the Repeat Prescription Ordering Line on 0300 421 1215, by post, online via the link at the top of this page or by a visit to the surgery.
If possible please allow 48 hours (2 working days) for a prescription to be prepared. However if you require your medication sooner than this please discuss with one of the dispensers.
If you would like us to send your prescription to either our branch surgery, or a local pharmacy, please advise us when ordering.
Prescriptions not ordered directly from the surgery or via the Prescription Ordering Line or our website may incur extra time.
If you wish your prescription to be posted to your home address please provide an SAE.
If you would like to register for Online Services to enable you to order repeat prescriptions and make appointments to see a doctor or for a blood test, please call in to reception with proof of your identity.
When ordering medication by any method, please allow 48 hours (2 working days) before collection if possible.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
