Patient Conduct: Zero Abuse Policy

There have been several occasions in the last week where patients have been rude & aggressive to our reception staff with regards to medication requests or medication queries.

Our reception staff are not the first point of call for medication queries. Our dispensary team will take telephone requests before 1pm. After this time, our online forms can be used (via the website or systemone online) or a call can be placed the next working day. Due to the volume of requests we receive, medication requests can take 72 hours to process and patients should plan accordingly for this.

We would like to remind patients that anyone who is deemed to be rude or aggressive to ANY member of our staff will receive a letter warning them about their conduct. Repeat offenders will be removed from the practice list.
