Appointments

Before booking an appointment with one of our clinicians, it may be worth taking a look at our self-referrals to check if a surgery appointment is needed for the service you require.

In both Yorkley and Bream we operate an appointment system for all consultations. You can make an appointment at either surgery.

How to make an appointment

If you wish to make a routine appointment, please contact the surgery during our opening hours. We have routine, pre-bookable appointments for long term health conditions available at both of our sites (Yorkley & Bream Surgery).

A large, but limited, number of ’emergency / on the day’ appointments are available on a first come, first served basis. Please contact the surgery from 8:30am to organise one of these.

You may be offered an appointment at another surgery (as part of the Forest of Dean ‘Extended Access’ service). Our reception team are trained to ask a few questions about your healthcare problem when you call us. They may suggest alternative healthcare providers that could assist you (such as community pharmacies, opticians or physiotherapists) based on this.”
